Cutting hole into PC case window.

I recently bought an Xpreadetor case with a clear side. It comes with all the holes for the fans pre cut, so adding fans to the window was a snap. My motherboard also had six points for fans so it makes it easy for me to control the fanspeed using the motherboards utils..

Good for you. You want a pat on the head or something?

you're a bit of a dick aren't you....

LOL

I'm a dick when I tell you about problems that I have had running a single fan in a window and you start bragging about how you can run 4 fine?

Also, an elipsis is 3 periods...

3 periods!? In a row? That's a whole month no sex.. damn..

Time was, a guy could get a decent fight in around here before the peanut gallery showed up. Damn.

lol, anyway, op if you really want to go ahead with putting a fan into your side panel, and want to use an 80mm (ugh) then I would recommend getting a fan like the Zalman ZM-OP1, it is a thin (15mm) fan, and comes with a grill and a fan connector with both 12v and 5v connections.

If you are going to drill/saw the perspex, use liberal amounts of meths on the cutting tool and cutting areas. This keeps the surfaces relatively cool due to the evaporation of the alcohol which prevents the perspex from melting and clogging.

Laser cutting does not work that great it tends to be blackened/melted on the cut edges. Don't know about water.
