I preordered Cyberpunk some time ago. But, fck, it happened - I have reached the age where I want you off my lawn. Consequently, I would rather spend time with my kids than jam this bad boy.

Refunded it to send as a gift. And thusly I hope to gift an avid PC Gamer, or virgins as we are called, a portal to everlasting ecstasy that will last through the night.

I had a bachelor flat 16 years ago right across from the University of Pretoria. Was a Saturday, I just got Freelancer and was playing it for a couple of hours, when unexpectedly, two blonde sisters I knew from primary school pitched up for a visit.

I firmly remember thinking to myself, "can they please just leave so I can continue playing my game". They did leave shortly thereafter as I ushered them outwards, and I played non stop the entire weekend. No ragrets.

Fast forward a few years, and my innocence was defiled. Gaming became less and less fantastical. I always played hoping to capture back the magic of yore, but it was increasingly diluted.

I guess the lesson is, don't suck on tits, not even once.

I am not going to lie this actually happened to me when I was a kid, I got given a Golden china, not even a SEGA, when Duke Nukem 3D was on every PC, everywhere

I am 36, have kids and the passion for playing every game on the market died years ago with that first explosive nappy. I do still love gaming though and I normally play through 2-3 games a year( if they are good) just to escape that serious nature of everyday life. Hoping Cyberpunk sucks me right in.
