It all started end of last month when I decided to migrate my ADSL line back to Telkom because I will be moving house soon and didn't want to have any hassles when the time came to move. I was on the Night Rider package so had to cancel my account as well since my ADSL line was no longer going to be with Cybersmart.
Beginning of this month, my account was cancelled and I was not billed. At this point I thought everything was going smoothly as my ADSL line was still functioning but I had no Internet. I phoned the consultant to ask if I could sign up for the 10 gb package at R125 and have the Night Rider add on for R25. He said I should email [email protected] and they will arrange it since they have my details already. Do that and get no response by this morning so I call again and get told to email [email protected]. I do this and I get home this evening to find my ADSL line not working. I call Cybersmart and the guy tells me my line was actually cancelled.
Firstly, the form used to migrate the ADSL line back to Telkom doesn't even mention the word CANCEL on it!!! The guy then tells me he will log an urgent call with accounts to call me back and sort this problem out. Like seriously what are they going to do??? Miraculously get my line back because they realize they made a mistake!?!? I've never actually experienced this level of incompetency in my life. Now I have to reapply for an ADSL line and wait like a month because their stuff up. What a joke.
I wish them nothing but the worse as you don't deserve to be in business if your staff are this incompetent that they can't even read a printed document.
