Hi

Is anyone on the Cybersmart Lite Home Uncapped ? I am interested in how it performs.

I am looking to get away from Telkom HomeUnlimited 20mbit fiber, not for performance reasons but for customer service reasons.
I do +- 500GB a month, don't torrent often but use FTP quite a bit. non competitive online gaming, Netflix 4k streaming and such.

I know Afrihost, Axxess, Webafrica and Mweb automatically disqualify themselves due to their extremely low fair usage policies. Cool ideas I was interested in but it looks like they have no way of migrating you from Openserve to them (You had to do a new install) whereas on cybersmarts signup form I did see the option for existing openserve customers.

Thanks in advance

The migration process from Telkom Retail to 3rd party ISPs are the same so same process would apply no matter which ISP you go with.

So it would still be
"send cancellation form to telkom"
"signup with fiber isp of choice"
"wait"

That is going to be the process with every Fibre line. They need to release it before a new ISP can take it over.

Yeap, it's usually pretty quick though. Once you are "off" Telkom retail then moving between ISPs is easy.

Seems like I am going with Cybersmart.... (New Install) Hope you come right. We can give feedback on cybersmart services
