Cybersmart modem+account problems...!?

Hey'all,

Just a quick Q:
When my ip address is reset every 12 or 24 hours (I forget which it is), my cybersmart modem
(also cybersmart account) goes through a period of inaccessability, varying between 15 - 45 minutes, maybe sometimes even a bit longer.
Invariably I have to turn the modem off and on a few times..

Is this normal?

Definitely not normal. Supposed to be able to reconnect immediately and it takes like 3 seconds. Contact cybersmart about this problem. But its more likely to be either your router or adsl line. Either way since its a cybersmart modem, contact them.

Apartently, you have to unplug the modem from the power and reconnect it. How odd?
