Hi There,

I have a cybersmart 4-port ethernet router modem on 192Kb connection, works well enough, except for getting "stuck"/freezing every now and then. (and gets VERY hot)

Anyhoo, I would like to connect to emule, but don't know how to set up port forwarding, ..portforward.com obviously doesn't have it listed, so I am schtuck..

Any help would be much appreciated!

Cheers..

If you have setup port forwarding on a router before it shouldn't be that hard, just look for an option that says virtual server or a specific port forwarding section, cybersmart doesn't have anything in their faq, click like a mad man MrE, you're bound to find it :)

I agree give us a pick of the main gateway, with the options clearly visible :)

Why dont you read up on PortForward how OTHER modems do it... Then you will understand WHAT you are trying to actually do...

Then you will be able to figure it out by yourself.

Unless another user here has the same make and model modem and is willing to post a guide for you ?!?!?

Bridge Mode is the answer to most if not all Port Forwarding problems. As alot of routers dont automatically forward ports for you, let windows handle that by using bridging mode and then creating a braodband dial-up conn.
