Will try and keep this post short. I find it really strange that here's no post about
This recent k@k of with Cybersmart!!!!!! Excuse my German please but allow me to explain.

Went threw the same **** most of u experienced with being sent from cybersmart to Telkom and visa versa! My issue being tht I suddenly could not connect to the EA server fifa14 on PS4. It started in January with frequent disconnect issues. Then a week later i Could only connect "during office hours" 7:30-23:00pm,exactly cutt off at the same times. This then led to frequent calls seeking assistance with
TroubleShooting suggested everytime and fokol results! Was then advised by a frontline troll to "unblock-me us" and told to change my DNS settings to the suggested which worked perfectly. Until a month ago I got blocked Off from there aswell and back at square one. Lead to yet another thoudsands calls adding EA to the "**** me" party.

After being pretty gatvol of this k@k i did a 3 way conferance call between these parties and uncovered the #:;/* in the F **k me fest. And by admittance !!!!

Cyber F#*/:n Smart has been BLOCKED from the EA SERVERS due to ViRUS
Alerts from EA. This WAS or is also the case with Battlefield 3 online. What just seriously pisses me off is that non of this SO Called educated bastards at Cybersmart sent out a notification of this problem.
I mean geeezzzzzzz mann,HOW K@K sleg can a service provider now really be!!!!!
 
While your frustration is clearly real, not much else about the post is. EA is not going to block some third world ISP due to a "ViRUS". Hell...the servers aren't even run by EA.

Well Im basicly sharing the reasons given to me. The fact remains that one cannot
Connect to EA server with Cybersmart wether i was yet again given a BS story or not.
WTF
 
Thanks for the warning and would agree with the previous poster that SA ISP's are too puny to be given a second thought by companies like EA. :p

Why not just switch to another more competent ISP? Is your line managed by your ISP? I would suggest letting Telkom manage your line since all other ISP's basically just report any line faults to Telkom in their own time-frame whereas you alone can appreciate the urgency of a line fault and report it ASAP. Just a few thoughts... :)

BS!!! Aaarrggh A place where bs experiences should be shared and heard to

Your post is very difficult to read because of your disgusting language.

Can you not string a sentence together without swearing? Perhaps if you figure out the basics of the English language, we would be more sympathetic.

Oh, and before you reply with more abuse, I hardly think EA even knows of the existence of South Africa, never mind Cybersmart.

Can you try to connect to EA using a proxy ?

Are you having any issues with other online games?

I'm definitely eager to try Battlefield 3. Which other games do you play ? I'm keen for some competition :D
 
So you're having a first world problem in a third world country?
