cybersmart slow connection!

I just want to know how can cybersmart tell me with a 512kbs account that is normal to get a latency of about 450m.s?
Why is torrent and p2p locked with cybersmart? even on shapped accounts when acording to their TOS shapped accounts have p2p unlocked cause the ports are shapped?

P2p and Torrents are not blocked by Cybersmart. I have used it myself a few times on their lines. I don't know why you get those bad speeds and pings. What is your line attenuation? At what speed is your line syncing?

I also use cybersmart and P2p & torrents is definitely not blocked, must be your firewall or something

Emule uses P2P. P2P is not blocked, thus there is another problem somewhere else. Like...your network setup. Did you set up port forwarding on your router? Emule allowed access by your firewall(s)?

its real funny actually! I cant forward ports cause cybersmarts branded router can do port forwarding nor can it setup route sentry. Ok second you would still be able to connect if your connection is behind a router. I can connect to Ares but not to emule but when using my axxess prepaid account it connects allmost instantly!
