Cybersmart slow

Is anyone else who has an account with Cybersmart experiencing really slow DL's during night rider time for the past three weeks? I know of one other person in my area that is having the same problem and wanted to find out from other users if this is a Cybersmart problem or a telkom line problem?

I am in Cape Town, Cybersmart 384 and have no problems.

It gets a little "choppy" on weekends, but nothing to really complain about.

EDIT: Just thought I'd add that browsing and downloads are fine with me.

thanks okes....yeah its weird reaching about 50kb/s during nightrider time on a 4mb line and then on one particular evening in the week it will achieve its max speed 440kb/s for the duration of the night rider time. downloads are pretty much torrents and there are loads of seeders but still crappy speeds....anyone got any suggestions as to somethign i can try prior to going to cybersmart direct?

There are no issues that I am aware of on our network. There are couple of highly contended exchanges at the moment, the two worst I know of is honeydew and randburg. Email me your username to [email protected] along with the following
1. when this happened or happens ( day of week and time of day if possible)
2. router make you are using
3. whether you are connecting wirelessly or with the cable

hey Laurie...thanks for teh response...will send the details through to you but wanted to check first if it was maybe some other problem and not yours before anyone started flaming cybersmart.
