Cycling

I've really enjoyed the past two stages, even if it means the proper action only starts in the last 10 KM's or so. Still feels suspenseful though!

No they don't. They end on the pankake (not really, but mostly) Champs Elysee.

The only actual mountain stage of this year's race is on Wednesday. I think the organisers made it "soft" this year to keep Pogacar in the hunt this long.

Stage 20 (last stage of racing) is a mountain stage, in previous years this was a time trial stage, either way Tour should go down to final day which keeps the tension up.

I might be a few years (well, maybe more than a few) past my prime, but us old dogs have long legs. I been riding a bike for 35 odd years, nearly ten of those as a pro. I can go uphill pretty well still.

Did you ever ride a grand tour or somethign similiar ? I assume at day 20 you must be smashed so day 20 even a small 9km hill must feel like a mountain.

The most I did was 7-10 day tours. Everything hurts. I did weigh around 54kg's then, so going uphill fast was my job on the team.

Yeah first corner today is slippery. A few riders have gone down. They should just avoid the white paint.

Don't think the fan deserves to be sued in this case. It's not like that woman with the sign in 2021
Somehow an example needs to be made otherwise it is never going to end. What if a careless fan ends a rider's career? Or worse, causes a life threatening injury?
