Or if Jonas' legs just gives out totally which is what will happen on the climbs, just you watch! :p

Come on Tadej!!
What it looked like yesterday is that the lack of proper preparation for Tadej is catching up with him.

One of two things was always going to happen, he'd get better the longer he goes, kinda racing into form, or the lack of doing the Dauphine or Tour de Suisse is going to show in the third week.

Training fit is a long way off racing fit.

I suppose today will tell. Jumbo will also find allies in Ineos, because for sure they will want to put Rodriguez back into the podium spot.

Pogacar still rode a great TT. He was catching Rodriguez (who isn't the worst time trialist) and he smashed Van Aert's time. Vingegaard was just on a totally different level riding the best TT of his life.

I don't think it's impossible for Pogacar to still win but don't really think it will happen now. Vingegaard has struggled a little bit on previous climbs but I think if Pogacar gains any time it will only be a few seconds like before. Would be cool if he does manage to get away from Vingegaard today though. Let the winner be decided on stage 20 :)

Pogacar is cracking just like I said he would :whistling:

Ok now it's over. Vingegaard has just won the Tour. Don't know where he suddenly got all this power from.

Nah. He lost time to Gall in the last kms. He didn't get better. Pog's lack of preparation cost him.

In modern cycling you can't try and win everything in the spring and the Tour.

My comment was the moment Jonas went solo past Tiesj i think it was with Tadej already a couple of minutes behind. I knew then it was all over for Tadej.

But just watch, Jonas will crack on stage 20 and lose 8 minutes :p

If Pogacar manages to win the TDF this year then bloody hell he deserves it o_O That TT yesterday from Vingegaard was monumental!

Vingegaard had another amazing stage, Pogacar’s lack of preparation showed, I don’t see Vingegaard losing this one unless something extraordinary happens…

What's more likely to happen is that Pogacar continues to fade and struggles to even remain on the podium.

The gaps are so huge between Jonas and everyone else, even if he's on a bad day, he can rely on his team to shepherd to the finish and retain yellow.

Yeah, UAE won't go on the attack anymore. All about survival for them now and defending against the likes of Ineos/Alula who will no doubt fight for the podium. And I wonder if Jumbo/Vingegaard will pull the race apart one last time on Saturday just for the hell of it lol.

Personally I think it will be Jumbo, UAE, UAE in Paris but you never know.

I think Pogacar will be fourth and Rodriguez will be on the podium.

I don't see Jumbo going on the attack for GC purposes. That part is done. They will be all control and defence. They might try slip Wout into a break at some point in the hunt for that stage win though.
