You see him making up 1min17sec on Pogi?
Def doable. Still a very long way to go. But only if Tadej has some very bad luck. Tadej is the best rider, no question.

Also I have a feeling Jonas won't ever win the Tour again. He says he's in his best form ever but I doubt it lol.

Now he's gonna win because I said that :p

Anything can happen, there's a long way to go. But I don't see it happening aside from some very bad luck (eg a fall) for Pogi. I know he won't do this, but all he needs to do from here on in is shadow Remco and Jonas. I don't see either of those two dropping him, and not by the time needed for them to overhaul him.

Sorry, that's not Pogi's style to shadow and sit back, because that can also backfire. It's better to get a big enough lead in case of any bad luck instead. He's a racer and winner, but he will also know when it really is required to use caution. Vinegar can follow Tadej for short distances, but the long mountains will prove more difficult for him when Tadej does a solo attack. Remco is not on par in the uphill stuff... he's a non-entity. Tadej should at least win 4 stages this year, but more is always possible.

Another thing, I don't understand this mentality that it's unfair when Pogi dominates and winning everything... I see it while you have it use it, you only live once and to achieve what he is doesn't last forever, so to hell with those naysayers. He could win lots more stages if he and his team really wanted to. I doubt it very much in the days of Mercx that he said, jeez man, I'm winning too much, I probably should let other people also win. It could just as well have been someone else dominating like Tadej is, but for now it's him, and lets enjoy it, we won't see many of his talent come along often in our lifetimes.

I'm sure Vinegar will fight till the end.

Holy that was an awkward crash for Jonas Rutsch. Thought for a moment both his legs were broken the way he was lying there lol. He got back up on his bike though...

Its not unfair, its boring.

Its not unfair, its boring.
No it's not. Definitely not boring to watch a champion doing what a champion does.

The same way it's not boring when the best swimmer wins every race, the best runners, the best fighters, tennis players, rugby teams etc etc. If you're the best you're the best.

Iga owning Wimbledon today wasn't boring either. I love seeing an athlete at the top of their game dominate their opposition

Fair enough. Competition is important but imo it doesn't detract from the amazing things champs like Pogacar are doing and are capable of. Guys like him are awesome to watch.

His competitors should just get good :p

You love competition (as do I), but I greatly appreciate excellence. There are few things more satisfying to me than a generational talent fully committed to their craft rising head and shoulders above their peers. Pogacar is a prime example of this.

Actually my mother started calling him that a few years ago, she said it's just easier to say it this way than Vingegaard, and it sounds similar... and now I do it to. :giggle:
