D-link 2650U Port Forwarding: Port 80 (web server)

I have created several port forwards (under virtual servers) for a PC, specifically for ssh (port 22) and apache (port 80). I have also acquainted myself with other 2650U/port forwarding threads on the forum (Port Forwarding on D-Link DSL-2650U router?

The PC is visible through ssh (i.e. the port is correctly forwarding). However, when I add a web server port forwarding rule, because the router has its web interface bound to port 80 as well, it gives me the following message:

"Since port 80 is used, the DSL router WEB server will be moved to port 8080."

Which is perfectly fine, but requests on port 80 still route to the router's web interface, asking for login credentials.
I'm unsure if disabling the web interface from remote access will resolve this issue- or indeed how to do so.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Did you tested the webforward from the internet side? If tested from lan side, it will still show router webpage.

Also note that Mweb might be blocking your port 22 & 80 from the Internet. You can unblock it in your Mweb control panel.

I really find it odd that it even wants to change the web interface's port from 80 to 8080, unless you've enabled the web interface for access from Internet too.
