d-link.co.za Website and FTP Dead / Shutdown ???

Hi All

Over the last few days I have been trying to get the latest firmware for my D-link 2750U modem , however upon accessing the d-link.co.za website and ftp,the website and ftp does not load. I have tried emailing d-link Africa and MEA regarding the site - No response. Tried calling d-link SA on 08600 DLINK (35465) - Number is not available . Has D-link South Africa shut its doors ? If so this is somewhat concerning as Telkom still issues D-link modems and in addition how will technical support now be provided for for D-link products ?

From reading the numerous my broadband post related to the 2750U it seems that the last version of the firmware available was - 1.72 (DSL-2750U_Firmware_AF_1.72_R01_LATEST 2013/10/21 ) . If anyone has a copy of it could they kindly share a copy with me via dropbox /OneDrive /Google Drive.

I emailed their support a few weeks ago regarding my 2500U, got a response that same day with my required firmware...
 
must be recent. I went on there just two days ago. they probably host in their office and maybe there is a mishap. If you're brave you could crack that baby open and use the serial UART interface to update the firmware with stock instead of Telkom's branded one. but they may spank you when they find out :p

in the meantime you can try 1.64 T10 at the Tellumat.co.za site. I suspect they are the supplier/importer to Telkom in this case like Hcom.co.za used to be for Netgear.

Under your router what letter do you see next to the model number, is it: dsl-2750U/NRU/C(/BA/C1A)?

The 1.64 T10 is the version I am currently running :) . I hope perhaps that maybe its a but of down time on there side , would suck if it truly is down for good.
