Hi guys,
I am working on a project for a client, where he wants his home networked. Unfortunately, he only told me about the whole thing after electricians had already done their thing, and basically, there is no easy way to lay the Ethernet cables through. The house is also quite large, so using WiFi is not really a good option (Even the Draft N stuff, i fear will not be good enough). Money on the other hand is not really an issue, and I was thinking about using the D-Link Ethernet Over Powerline adapters http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=561.
Has anybody had experience using these here? What are the speeds like (This is very important, as the point of the whole network is to stream videos to media center extenders), and in general, what is the experience like?
Thanks in advance for your answers.
Cheers,
Michael
