HI.

I am very new at this so please excuse the newbi question.

Thanks to Afrihost i can also afford ADSL. I bought the D-Link DSL-2500U but i want to get some pre-paid data now.

Where do i enter the username and password of the ISP of the pre-paid.

My normal Afrihost account works very well, i just cant get the place to replace the username and password of the pre-paid voucher.

Thank you

Kimbo

PS. Thank you Afrihost :D

Setup one account, backup config to hardrive. Setup second account, backup config to HD. Restore configs as needed!

Hi Kimbo

There are two options here:
(1) Create a PPPoE dial-up account in Windows and use that to connect the prepaid when you need it.
(2) Switch between account settings on the router whenever you want to change

I'd recommend (1), since it is much easier. If, however, you want to do (2), log in to your router as admin, go to Advanced Setup -> WAN -> Add. Hope that helps.

You can create a dial up broadband account.

Its simple...

Click Start button, go to control panel. then run internet options. Under internet options, click on connections, then click add...

Then select broadband connection, rename the connection to the ISP u are using and click finish. Then put in the username and password into the correct fields where it says dial up settings and click finish and u are done...

to dial out on that account.... click start... goto connect to and click on the new account that you created and dial out on the account...
