D-Link DSL-2750u Modem help... :(

Hi Everyone,

I got this modem from a friend today its his old telkom modem and I just want to use it for my ADSL that I will be getting. but it wont work

The SSID is D-Link

and when I enter the WPA key on my PC it says that the key is mismatched.

WTF! this is ****! why does it not connect?

What do you mean how? Go into the router setup page and change it.

Try connecting via ethernet first. Default admin panel should be http://10.0.0.2/

It might be a good idea to reset the router to factory defaults and start from scratch.

Remember to change all the default passwords. The support accounts password is TelkomDlink12345

My PC pics up the D-Link Wifi, but the WPA key does not work. it says it is a mismatch.

I must add that I do not have internet connection with this ADSL router, I merely want to test if the router connects with my PC.

If your mate changed the default password then you will need to go into the settings and see what it is.

Plug a LAN cable in it then you will have access to the router.

Turn the WiFi on the laptop off then try again.
