D-Link DSL2640u (c2) internet light is OFF

hello guys i really need your help with my modem router D-Link dsl 2640u c2 when i turn it on the Dsl light keep weanking and the internet light is OFF i try to update it but noting.

The Internet light depends on the DSL connection, meaning you first need a connected ADSL connection for the router to establish a PPPoE Internet connection.

Can you hear a dial tone when you pick up your telephone?

I would suggest that you start off by connecting the ADSL modem directly to the Telkom line - without any other filters or telephones connected too.
Then go and check your ADSL modem's stats to see whether it is synchronized/connected at all. It should give SNR margins/line attenuation figures. You can also go to its Diagnostics page and run a test there.

yes i hear the tone and i forgot to tell i try my friend router and he works without any problems

if your friend's modem works 100%, then try what I said by connecting that D-Link modem without an ADSL filter to see if it works at all. Also make sure to plug in the cable into the DSL port and not into one of the bigger Ethernet/LAN ports.

Lastly, just remember that you cannot have 2 modems on a single ADSL/telephone line - even if it is split.

i connect it without ADSL cable but nothing DSL keep weanking even after i add the the adsl cable it's still the same iv'e try the hard reset but nothing and this my dsl setting in the configuration page

Go to the statistics page.

Those DSL settings are good. You can try the "Outer pair" option, which could make a difference if their is a fault with the cabling.
