d-link dwa 125

hi there,i have a d-link dwa 125 usb stick that i bought to connect via wifi but it like works for like 2-3minutes then it just loads and loads like it gets disconected?weird tried donloading the drivers from the site but it doesnt download?dont know why has any one had one of these usb wifi adaptors before?

I Had the exact same issue with the DWA125, and it's a crappy device, outdated and worthy of throwing in the bin.
A New USB device is about R200, probably worth just replacing it...
New drivers don't help either, tried that route.

Your system specs are rather unimportant.
What is more important to us is what operating system you're using? eg. Windows XP 32-bit or Windows 7 64-bit.

Secondly, could you provide us with a download link that we can check for you?

Thirdly, to what AP are you connecting? Is it using 802.11a/b/g or 802.11n? I ask this because that D-Link device only supports 802.11g & n.

Lastly, have you tried installing the drivers that should be included on a CD that came with the device? I would also think that Windows 7 can install the drivers for you automatically.

well it seems to be working now,managed to dl the new drivers and it works now,and its win 32 pro sorry forgot about that but its working for now,dont know what ap it is the gf uses it for work and aking her would be rocket science lol
