D-Link DWR956M Can't login via SSH

Gives me "Permission denied, please try again" when trying to ssh [email protected]. Trying the same password I set in the GUI for admin. Even did a factory reset and tried admin/admin before setting another password. On my other router, a DIR-825 (supporting only Telnet, very insecure) the same password for GUI works in command line.

In Management / Service Control I can turn SSH off or on again, but nowhere to set a command line password.

WHAT AM I MISSING?!!
