Don't know why they always have to overpromise and underdeliver where the speeds are concerned. Who are they fooling?

With a Gigabit port you are not going to come anywhere close to 2Gb/s.

I think they mean between the 2 PowerLine units you get 2Gig speeds.

I think that figure represents UP+DOWN, hence 2Gbps.

Why not just run a CAT5E cable? Surely it is more cost effective, and has better performance?
