D-Link vs. Netgear 4 port routers

Having tried Netgear, D-Link and Linksys ... Linksys comes out tops for me, and they are now owned by Cisco, so you are assured of a quality product. The Linksys also has a hook into dyndns.org, which dynamically ties your changing IP to a domain name.

I've only used a Netgear and a DLink but I have heard very good things about linksys equipment. My current Netgear router was way better than my old dlink. My Netgear DG834 also supports dyndns.org

how about a wired router..? which netgear is a good one? can't spend much cash on the router..

i've ruled out d-link now. so either netgear or linsys wired router.. whichever is cheapest.

I use the WRT54G for wireless and BEFSR41 for wired, have 7 setup in total - between my 2 houses and my office - all work like a charm. I would reccomend spending the extra money to have something that works better and is more robust.

Bought a Billion 7202G Wireless ADSL Router from DigitalPlanet. Will be delivered next week and then I'll see if it was worth the money. I think it is if you look at the specs! Pricing not to bad and it comes in black!

My netgear dg834g supports adsl 2+ and according to the billion adverts their routers support adsl 2+ aswell.

Got my Billion 7202G Wireless ADSL Router yesterday. Took me less than 10 minutes to setup and connect the modem. It has autoscan ISP - type in your ISP username and password and it scans for the ISP and automatically import the ISP IP and DNS settings. Amazing! With built-in firewall, QoS, VPN, Virtual Server, DynDNS - I know I've bought a quality product! I would definitely suggest this product to future ADSL users!
