Hi, please help.
I have bought a D-Link Wireless N 150 PCI Adapter (DWA-525), but displaced the CD. [ No, really ]
Furthermore I inserted the adapter in the PC without realizing that the wizard is supposed to be run beforehand. After the first reboot the bios and system time were reset. I may or may not have damaged something.
I then downloaded the drivers from ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Wireless/dwa525/Drivers/dwa525_drivers_100.zip but the adapter shows driver no installed in the device manager.
My question is twofold, how to fix the driver (if the adapter is not broken), and more relevant to this forum, which 'dialer' can I use to connect given I do not have the propriety D-Link connection software.
I came under the impression that certain PPPoE dialers can also be used for wireless adapters, but had no luck finding relevant software. (I can't find the relevant D-Link connection software online either).
The end goal is to connect wirelessly to my Zyxel ADSL router...
