my score: square root of negative zero

alas, poor Ivy, the knives are out big time
wonder if she will COPE?
I expect Poison Ivy will find a nice shady area of Thabo's ZAR90m wall, where she can retire.

As for her score, I don't understand why 1/10 was the lowest possible, surely 0/10 would have been the lowest possible score befitting the incompetent narcoleptic Poison Ivy, nonetheless a score of 10% is still an epic fail on her part, hopefully the temporary president agrees and decides to napalm her rear end - maybe there will be pork rind souvenirs on sale at all major intersections - doughnut flavoured of course...

Professor Alison Gillwald of The Edge Institute said that "…with the bottom three quintiles of South Africans paying close to 20% of their income on communication, against 5% in peer economies, consumers and businesses may well ask what drives the continued defence of the policy of managed liberalization….the agreed policy time spans for protected monopoly and duopoly services have long come and gone".

Well, not entirely true. Some businesses have done extremely nicely thank-you-very-much... hey Alan?

Her requested changes to settop box configurations would not only make these boxes expensive but may also require that TV manufacturers update their digital tuners for the South African environment. As if HD and digital tvs aren't expensive enough.

Score: 0

I think she should not even be rated due to her pure incompentance!

Ill rate her 10 and to be kind multiply that by 0

She'll probably think she scored 100 from me.

Her work done for governments cause/enrichment: 10/10
Her work done for South African citizens: 0/10

Did you see my name on the article? No, if you really want an answer perhaps you should ask the journalist in question for the full story. I'm sure there are criteria, but I am just in the dark as you.

Though it is obvious there ratings are pretty close to the target.
At last we're getting somewhere.

It's rather surprising that the White ministers (Hogan and Doidge) scored high whereas they just joined cabinet recently! What measurement instruments did the DA (Darkies Aside) use for them to achieve such high marks in the short period? The DA can try whatever mechanism it wants to denigrate the ANC but they (DA) wont succeed because most of us have seen through them!! They are a bunch of rightwing racists masquerading as democrats!! Try next door at Cope...

With your reply to it...
This idiot's reasoning is the reason Mugabe is still in power. Blind refusal to believe the truth and an undying urge to obfuscate the facts by raging on about unrelated facts and placing the blame on someone else.

But since you just in the dark like me,all i want was for you to explain the process of measurement you accept as "the truth".

Giving her any score higher than zero might imply that she actually did something positive. Zero would imply that she did nothing positive but that she also didn't do anything negative. It would simply imply that she didn't do anything, but that is also not true. I think she did a lot, but it was all negative and counterproductive. Frankly I can't think of anything good to say about her nor can I think of a negative score low enough!

As I explained: it is obvious with many ministers there is a problem; yet many supporters (though admittedly you did not) refuse to accept this fact despite glaring evidence.

Though I am talking about actual measures when I say I'm in the dark, which I assumed you were asking about. As for the obvious facts with regard to the turn around in the Health Department, Manuel's handling of the crisis or Ivy's personal vendetta against Altech, for example - I thought that was obvious to all but a blind deaf hermit in a cave in the middle of the Sahara. Please you explain what you mean by "HOW?" because clearly you aren't expressing yourself correctly?

I do notice you ignored the rest of my post though. Very convenient.

I cant score her...........

Who in their right mind apointed this woman in that position in the 1st place???? and allowed her to stay the term???? The previous president stick to his appointments even in the face of direct international embarasment for SA

How should the apointer/s be scored???? Maybe the next national voting scam will give an indication of some score????

-∞ should do the trick :D.

Wow, what can we say about this woman? Is all the hatred and name-calling justified? Absolutely. She is scum. Never mind the fact that she has denied businesses and the Telecomms industry billions of rands in growth and expansion.... she denied the average and poorer South Africans basic tellecomms connectivity... and that is inexcusable. With the millions of people in South Africa living in poverty or close to poverty, getting online was one way they could have found a job or started to make some kind of living, or even just had some contact with the world. But in her greed and incompetence she denied them even this. Under any other government her actions would have been regarded as criminal and totally corrupt. Never mind giving her any kind of score, she should be held criminally liable for her denial of the basic human right of communication. We do not hate her without reason. She has given us plenty of reason to despise her and all she stands for. Sorry Ivy, I have zero respect for you. In fact I have the uttermost contempt for you.

How did they rate 2 people on such a short period of time, and gave them higher ratings?

That's all i asked, that's all i wanted you to explain. You're correct,I ignored everything else in your posts that had no relevance to what i asked.

For all the billions she has stolen from business and the public while supposedly being a public servant, add those amounts together and add a negative to that. She should be put in jail and left to rot for encouraging legalized theft through her policies which frankly makes anyone with a bit of common sense sick. It is true - the rich get richer and poor get poorer, but Ivy gets to make the poor, poorer and still takes from little they have due to her incompetence.

0 - She is a remnant of the Mbeki regime and should have been fired! She was useless before and once again simply does not know wtf she is doing. She would be better served in Russia as the communications minister! An absolute disgrace to 'access to information' for the poor :o
