And the anc will rule until Jesus returns. I'm sure the DA will come to some agreement or by that stage scamral will be to broke to fight anything in court and accept defeat.

Haha.. This is as expected. Power for changing the eToll system is at national level. Locally they can only improve routes around it making it unneeded

Yeah, yeah, it was just election talk and strategy all along. Nothing else. It will become election talk and strategy once again come 2019.

I agree with comments above, there are agreements that cannot be broken. In terms of civil claims the government will be worse off. I suspect that the DA, should they ever come into rule in 2019, will just find other means of funding the work done and maintenance of the roads and close down the gantries. They will honour the agreements and then never renew it again with Kapsch.

Because it's not within local government's power to do anything about it and they get bitch slapped in parliament when they try do it there?
