In another Obama type election campaign move, IMO, the DA is now asking for money from ordinary citizens, so to the guys who have been in such support for the DA, time you put your money where your mouths are.
As for the article, it so misleading it is not funny.
The DA, as well as every other party in parliament receives state funding. In proportion to representation. And as for not getting money from big business, it is not becuase of the great morals they have, its becuase they did not want to give them that much. They approach big business like any other.
And to demonstrate their hypocracy, they ask for money on hand:
And on the other hand they tell the ANC to give money back that they received, from the same company THEY went to go ask money from:
The more the elections come closer, the more political parties forget what they have done, and lie to us.
