DA spokeswoman on Interface last night

Did any of u guys watch it? I thought she was brilliant. Very well spoken en sy vat nie k@k nie. She new exactly what she was talking about and had a clear answer for everything. No going eh..eh...eh like the ANC a-holes do.

They ran a poll to see if the viewers thought the DA can run the country. 97% said yes. May not be scientific...but it was good to see.

The best part is that this spokeswoman is black and appears on the DA placards on the lampoles with Helen and Patricia. I think she is GREAT and will get the message out there!

It was very good. I missed some parts though. Was flicking between that and a doccie on bbc K. I would not mind watching it again to see the parts that I missed. She did say they have their eyes firmly set on nelson mandela metro. The more cities they take over, the more they can show people before 2014 what they are capable of. They don't just see this ellection as a single event...but they see this as a way foreward to the next general elections.

I don't know but I personally find it a bit condescending for a politician to be quoting the likes of Shakespeare in his speech when the audience is not well versed with his work. In the end it defeats the whole purpose of the speech. The audience is more often left wondering what was that all about. Surely we have plenty of familiar local literature that one can make reference to and still achieve the same effect.
