This crime of raping or favours in exchange for giving a job is way under-reported in SA.

It happens a lot in SA and in most parts of the world tbh. Even in USA, UK etc, you get cases of young usually attractive female staff getting sudden promotions for having an affair with the boss.

If convicted and guilty give him the harshest possible sentence. When released he will be welcomed to the anc ranks and won't be caught for anything anymore and if ever caught will never see prison in any case.

Or even better if guilty hand him over to the community for a few hours first.
 
Geez guys, a thread about a rapist in the DA turns into an ANC thread right from reply number one.

This is South Africa stuff like this creeps into all of society, there probably some serial rapists on this forum as well.
 
Law enforcement needs to be tough on him and make an example of him. We have the strictest rape laws in the world where you get life for rape but enforcement and imprisonment is so weak that the laws might as well not exist. The scum is probably going to claim it is consensual

Was that before or after he promised the work though?

Or was it rape and then afterwards he promised the work to keep it from getting out?
 
I am always saddened by ills like this, way too many predators in plain sight. Still, needs to be proven, and the allegation needs to be honest.
