Daily Maverick site down?

It's down for me too it seems. Almost certainly some sort of nefarious scheme by the Guptas and their acolytes :mad:

It's my morning fix for their excellent, well thought through articles.
 
I actually sort of hope they are being targeted. The news article detailing the no doubt clumsy attempt would be entertaining.
 
If they are being targeted, it is a feather in their cap, as they are one of the few who have been constant in their vocal criticism of Zuma.

Not to mention being even-handed enough to have occasional columns by Faith and the like...
 
Since this outage, when I go to dailymaverick.co.za my browser hangs for about 20 seconds - all tabs locked until it completes loading.

Anyone else experience this ?
