Scroll down, download playlist and use it with VLC.

Have not tested it so cannot vouch for it but it looks like you will see more than what you can get on dstv.

EDIT: Testing it now and it works, it has a playlist with many channels so you just have to check which time those channels cover the event, right now Eurosport 2 has the Dakar showing, the second channel I skipped to, have not scanned the others yet.

EDIT2: If you scroll down even further you will see an option 3 to view live streams, download that playlist as well, open it with a text editor and read the instructions!
