Darkshore fishing quests

I started a NE Druid on a RP server during the weekend to see how different it is.

I did the three fishing quests that you get in Auberdine. What surprised me, was how quickly I managed to finish it. When I did the quests previously, it would take about an hour and a half and I would level my fishing up to 150.

Last night, it took about 15 minutes in total. Most of the time was spent traveling to the last fishing site. The first two quests (darkshore grouper and gafferjacks) had about 90% catch rate. Almost everytime I fished, I got a grouper and a gafferjack at the same time. For the third quest, I managed to get the electropeller on every catch.

So I wondered. Did Blizzard make the quests easier or was it just some good karma for me to make up for the bad drop rates I had the day before.

Ur lvl 40 already ?

afaik the one part of the quest you need to go to Ferelas to go farm set fish and that place is nasty even as lvl 35

Eish, sorry. I thought you where talking about the 225+ fishing quest.

That took me a whole afternoon I have never done any fishing quests appart from that.

I spent quite some time getting 8 of them fished for Nate's fishing pole. It became such a schlep that I eventually kept some of those fish in my bank for some of my guildies to use to speed it up for them - due to the crappy drop rate.

I think the bug of the daily fishing is probably over all the fishing quests... has no one noticed since the patch u catch the daily quest fish first time, every time??
