Dash Mat - What Would You Recommend?

I would recommend not getting a dashmat.

I would recommend not getting a dashmat.

Why not?
I'm actually asking for my partner, who's in charge of the car but doesn't have internet access today.
It seems dashmats help fight UV damage, and also cut down glare on the dashcam?

Because they look terrible. But to each their own.

I would not get one, even though my dash is leather wrapped. My reasoning is whats the point in hiding such a beautiful work of art with such fine stitching? The car is not going to last forever so I might as well enjoy it, it was after all engineered to be enjoyed.

I know what you mean and I'm inclined to agree.
But I think the partner's main interest is in cutting down the glare on the dashcam.

Leather wrap it. If you have the means, I highly recommend it.

Maybe look into the cost of of having it vinyl-covered in a mat black colour. It will both protect the dash from hash sunlight and cut down on the glare.

In Brakpan, at the flea market held at Cosy Corner Moth Shellhole:

Fake Fur dash covers are sold with a FREE set of dice to dangle in front of the dashcam AND, wait for it, yes, there is MORE: A nodding dog to place on the back parcel shelf too!

Must have.
This retro-hillbilly stuff is really becoming big.
