O.k, so it seems to pick up the device as its status on mdma is on ready, however there is no signal in the signal bar and if I try t connect it says error 619: A connection to the remote computer could not be established, so the port used for this connection was closed

thanks for your effort, I downloaded the program and it says no device. If it is a longcheer device do you think I should try to unlock it with DC-Unlocker? could it be network locked thus not allowing me to connect through vodacom?
 
Modem not found on dc-unlocker under longcheer. How can I assign a port for the device as it does not match on dc-unlocker

It seems I have the same Mecer laptop as Brakanjan, so having the same problems as he does.

It a shlep to take out the sim everytime to load a databundle.

I am close to you maybe we could get together as we can help each other. Actually you will help me and Brakanjan
