A progressive company situated in Tokai (Cape Town) seeks to employ a Database Administrator. The successful candidate will be required to manage the installation configuration upgrade, administration, monitoring, maintenance, production support and developer support of database environments.
You will need to have:
5-10 years’ relevant experience
OCP certification
Oracle 11 (Oracle 12 is advantageous)
Oracle ASM
Oracle Vault
Data Warehousing
The following is advantageous:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (IS) or related field
Relational database design
Performance/query tuning
MySQL (5.x)
Banking/Contact Centre/Telephony MIS experience
