Hi all i would just like to know why Mtn claims that data and airtme purchases expire within 24 hours... But if i buy it at 23.59 its gone at 00.00..That's not any where close to 24 hours.. We are losings thousands of rands and this is frustrating.. I feel that we are being conned out of our hard earned money and something serious needs to be done to correct this.. Is there no legal action that can be taken to stop them

While I don't have an exact answer for you regarding that, my suggestion would for you to buy a sim only contract that handles your calls and data or migrate to Afrihost Mobile.

Have you checked that you are not subscribed to any services? You know the R5/day for some nonsense.

Also why not buy data/airtime after midnight and test.

Don't buy at 23h59, just wait another minute, then buy
But thars not the issue.the point is regardless of wot time you buy or load it.. It stil does not expire after 24 hours.. So everyone buying nd loading must do so at 00.00 so as to get the most out of the data.. How does that seem right to you.. Its supposed to be loaded at any time and expire at the same time the nexr day as long as the balance is positive

So everyone must do that to get their money's worth...

No, just you. Everyone else gets proper data bundles.
This is pointless guys.. U seem. To be missing the issue that's why service providers can. Do woteva they want and get away.. Only in s. A
