Hi,

I received a message in the morning letting me know that I have 150 MB of Data remaining (I'm on the iPhone Talk 240), now I've been using WiFi the whole day and I've just received a message letting me know that the data bundle has been depleted.

This doesn't make any sense as my phone clearly shows that I've used just over 170 MB this whole month. Has anyone had a similar occurrence happen to them ?

When I log onto the Vodacom website it shows that the remaining data bundle as 353 MB.

It's an iPhone 5 with Vodacom.

Hi

I also seem to be having data issue's. I have like 500mb every month, apparently its been depleted this morning but my phone usage only shows something like 200mb sent and received.

I been receiving these since yesterday, and tried to log on to the vodacom site last night, but the website was down. and mobile app also not working

Im pretty sure the phone data usage is accurate atleast i hope so.

I got a notice yesterday telling me that my cap had been reached and I would be paying out-of-bundle rates now. Hop onto the website and there's 436 MB waiting for me to use.

Their iOS app has been bleating "This service is currently unavailable" the last couple of days, EVEN WHILE they are sending me SMSs telling me to install it! The moment someone brings out a viable alternative to these bloated cellcos that take your money and provide zero customer service, I'm outta here. There's no point switching from one to another. They're all equally putrid.

I gave Vodacom a call and the guy on the line told me that they are currently experiencing problems with the sms's notifying clients with the amount of data they have.

I was told that I still have data left (the amount corresponds with the amount on the website portal).

Hopefully its just a glitch on their side as I don't want to incur any unnecessary costs.
