You just load your account. I normally put in R100 at a time. As I only use it for emergencies it lasts a long while.

I am willing to pay 57c per MB for data that does not expire and will be available if and when I need it.

As far as I am aware GConnect are the only ones offering this kind of service.

For example, the last time I used it was when I had to make a bank payment and the power went out. No problem. Log into GConnect and make the payment. Cheaper than driving to an ATM.
