Is it possible for me to buy a data bundle on the MTN "Bring your own phone" contract? I've tried dialling 141 but there's no option for it. If it isn't possible then I'm going to change to Vodacom because R2.00 a megabyte is just too much. And the worst is that it's actually more than that at times. At one time I worked it out to R2.70 a meg. But back to my original question, is it possible?
Thanks in advance

Mavix, MTN does have options for buying Data-bundles on Prepaid. Give the Customer services a call, just wait for a Consultant.

Vodacom also has Data-bundles on Prepaid. U purchase it in that month, and basically have to use all the data by the end of the month or something like that.

500mb is R189 (works out to 37.8cent per meg)
1gig is R289 (works out to 28.3cent per meg)

But MTN has similar offers, bundles are much cheaper

As per the agreement, BYO deal contracts cannot load Value added services.
Best is to just get a prepaid Sim for that data usage ;)
