Data bundles

Oops, this HSDPA thing has screwed me over a bit. My data is FINITO!!! Now I have to make another plan. Is the out of bundle charge still R2/MB and what bundle options are available at present?

How do I activate one?

Check with 155 if you can't add a normal data bundle to your existing contract. It will run from month to month, but if you don't want it you just change it to a 0Mb bundle.

So you still have a bundle on your contract, but you pay R0 for it.

That could be an option - what are the other bundles? At what cost?

They start at a my meg 20 (R35); my meg 75 (R110); my meg 150 (can't recall the price offhand but it reduces your rate to R0.99 per meg); Then you get the mey meg 500 (R350) and the 1 gig (R499).

You can either add the monthly bundle or the adhoc one (which lasts for 30 days) and won't automatically load the next month. 082 155 can load these bundles for you, or a Vodashop also has access to this.

My 1gig bundle was finished on the 3rd of May already.... Added another 1gig (by phoning 155) and that was finished about 4 days ago. The funny thing is, I'm getting speeds slower than 3G most of the time. Almost seems like it is limited to +- 8 or 9 KB/s. Beginning to wonder if HSDPA was such a good idea.
