Data calls to 0822491000

Anyone have any idea what number 0822491000 is from vodacom, because apparently I made 3 data calls to that number which took R30 airtime...This is from looking at the itemised billing on the vodacom site, if I use the internet it comes up as Internet GPRS there so I'm guessin this is something seperate?

so WTF vodacom, explain yourself?

EDIT - K a little google search pointed me to an old mybb thread showing 0822491000 is vodacoms number to connect, so lets say my internet on my phone went on somehow, I have 3G disabled cause it just chows battery so that means its only got GPRS and R30 airtime would mean I did like 15 megs in 398 seconds which is around 30KB/s...I don't see my phone pulling 15 megs randomly for no reason especially with 3G/HSDPA disabled.

According to this it is a wap "dialup" number. What phone are you using?

HTC Touch Diamond 2 but I have 3G disabled, Email disabled, weather disabled, twitter disabled. So basically anything that could pull data I disabled just cause I didn't really need them or like the 3G just made the battery die quicker.

make sure you don't have a dial-up connection setup instead of 3G.

Just checked and only profile I have is Vodacom.GPRS which I don't see any dial up settings in it so I'd assume it would connect using the normal *99#?
