Data Capturing/ Typist Job

I do transcription work and I commonly earn over R10000/month. One month i got in R17k. But it fluctuates by the inflow of work that they have. Over the christmas time it got way too slow so I had to pick up something else on the side. it's picked up again now though.

What do you transcribe?

Just regular audio stuff - conferences, some medical, some legal, some finance, some market research. I hate it with my entire being.

I studied translation but I never did one bit of work in that field after that. I hate it with a passion that's almost holy.

Hi. You can try freelancing sites. Try Odesk. www.odesk.com. Its mainly for designers but there are jobs for data capturing and that sort of thing on there as well. Its free to join but there is a test you have to take and it can take awhile to get hired if you are new. The pay most of the time isn't great but maybe you'll be lucky. I have used the site and it isn't a scam. Just remember to read about the difference between hourly and fixed rate jobs. Well, good luck. Hope this helps you.

Could you PM me with some details please? :)

Dude that was a long time ago - I moved on since then and that company stopped being a viable source of income. Waywithwords.co.za is generally looking though, maybe try them - they're very stringent on what they will accept though. But I know they're legit.
