Data Card on my cellphone ?

Hi

I just got my data card vodacom 3g/hsdpa 2 days ago so im totally new to this, be gentle

Today i got my new cell phone - htc tytn on mtn.

I thought i would be able to use my vodacom data sim on the phone aswell, skype and so forth. Im thinking i need some type of connection settings to set it up. New connection, bla bla bla

Can someone please help with what i have to set.

Download the data setting for the Vodacom network (from Leaf, I guess) and install them. This will set up your TyTN to use the Vodacom network.

Otherwise create a new connection with 'internet' as the apn and connect with this.

Thanks mate, i cant d/l anything, ill try internet APN. Im jumping between sim cards, so i might lose ma moer, ill let u know tommorow.

Thanks vodacom3g. The net connection worked like a charm. It took another hour figuring out that skype 2.2 mobile does not allow voice with the tytn. I ran a 1.? version and it worked great. 1 and 1/2 hours on the phone to the uk for less than R10 with skypeout

Cool, and before someone posts here that you're going to be charged a different rate for VoIP; not so.
