Data Card SMS reporting to a different number

So we all have our iPads that have 3G, but just for that service, for data, no calls or SMS's.

Is there a service that will allow all the SMS's going to the data card be rerouted to another number? Or must this card be removed and placed in a phone to get the SMS's?

I am sure I have a ton of SMS's on that card that haven't been read yet.

IF you on Vodacom..There's a vodacom app similar to the Mobile Connect Desktop app, I think it also has a SMS option..

On Vodacom you can redirect usage notification to another number. From vodacom website:

"If you’d prefer your SMS notifications to go to an alternative number, like your cellphone, activate this service in store, or SMS ALTNUM 082 XXX XXXX (the last 7 digits of the cellphone number you want notifications to be sent to) to 123. This option is only applicable to Data Contract customers."
