Read the other post and you'll learn that it the problem with 64k sim ,you must order a 128k sim from Virgin Mobile at no charge to you.Just check your sim,if it's a 64k then you know why.problems with 64k sim in MTN Data card only, but works fine as sim in Mobile phone.Go well.:)

Lipo - Did you buy your card directly from Leaf ? What price ? I've been trying to get a response out of them for a week now without success. They have the Aircard 775 en 850 (HSDPA) as far as I know.

Contact details would be appreciated!

Hi All

Not too sure if this is directed at Cell C or Virgin Mobile. Cell C will be introducing the Novatel U740 data card (GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDAP) in the next month. The cards are due for delivery and once processed by our warehouse will be included into our available deals.

Cheers

Hi there. Can anyone tell me where I can get a data card for my laptop, to connect through gprs or edge to internet? A 3G data card are still too expensive for my budged. I wonder what vodacom do with all the normal 3g data cards, because I heard that people who have a data contract can bring in their 3g card too swop it for a 3g hsdpa card. Can someone also pls tell me if virgin mobile coverage are the same as mtn and vodacom? Thanks a lot

Hi Wynsam

In response to your question I can confirm that the Cell C data cards will not be network locked.

Cheers

Hi, for info, Virgin are selling a GPRD/EDGE Sony Ericsson card for R1300 ( you do not need a contract to buy it although you will probably have to get a pre-paid sim with it) and you need to pay cash for it. VM are on cellC's network who roam on Vodacom where there is no C coverage as far as I know.
