Who are they?

My client, based in Century City, designs, builds and supports social web and mobile products.

What will you do?

This is a challenging new position within the BI environment. They require someone to design and build their next generation data analysis platform to analyse large volumes of unstructured data using emerging BIG Data and NOSQL technologies.

Can you apply?

• Undergraduate degree in computer sciences or 8+ years relevant experience
• Post graduate degree (advantageous)
• Maths, Applied Maths, Electrical Engineer (signal processing) or Stats majors (advantageous)
• Strong theoretical computer science knowledge
o OO Theory
o Design Patterns
• Experience in information engineering
• Experience with NoSQL and BIG Data technologies
o e.g. Hadoop, Pig, Hive, HBase
• Self-starter able to work in small teams and by oneself

Do you also have experience in Excel, Data Warehousing and RDMS clustered solutions e.g. Microsoft SQL or MySQL?
