my dilema... should i be surprised or not?

well, phoned 155, did all the details to upg to larger data package, all goes through (or so i thought) .. logon to v4me and it still shows as a 500MB data package... grrrrrrrr!!!!

now thats super fantastic - i think i'll be seding an email to VC to cancel my contract, as they cant keep their side of the deal, anytime something needs to be done, its a hassle and then after all that hassle doesnt get done - to me thats not keeping their side of the contract and means they effectively cancelled it - thanks for helping me with this choice VC, thanks VERY much

Don't be surprised at all. My first upgrade from 500Mb to 1GB took Vodacom almost 6 months to get right. Then my upgrade from 1Gb to 2Gb took almost 3 months for them to get right.

They tell you you have been upgraded and then you think you have and start using more and then they gladly charge you at out of bundle rates.

After a number of emails to sort out my upgrade issues all overages were credited and charged at the rate they should have been charged because I had all supporting documentation proving that Vodacom had claimed the upgrades had been done.

My advice, SIT ON THEM and check your account on Vodacom4Me immediately in the 1st day of the month which is when it should reflect. Keep all correspondance relating to it as well just in case they claim they know nothing about it.

Yep... my second month now that my bundle should have been upgraded from IMB to 2MB and never happened.. I phoned 155 on the 1st of the month to complain and lodge my query.. and now I will fight again to get my account adjusted

I dont understand how a company can operate like this, it is as if there is no concern at all that the back office stuff is broken... and I'm yet to be convinced that their data count is correct... certainly the balances shown on v4me are wrong.

And so we go along paying for a premium service and adding to the profit line.. just wait VoIP and WIFI phones are here... there will be a price to pay...

same problem.

I have been trying since April to upgrade from a 250M to 1G. I also cannot understand why one cannot migrate during the month - surely a company such a Vodacom has the resources to get this right - unless they want to charge loyal customers at the out of bundle rate (especially when these customers are not keeping track of their usage):mad:
