I see over the media is saying data prices will fall from February 2019, what do you think, worth it to wait or take current data deals while it's on the table?

I apologize, it seems the data price battle is still on, in from end of Feb they will no longer be able to charge u out of bundle rates without consulting you when your data is finished.

And you can transfer data from yourself to others on the same network. Telkom already allows you to transfer up to 1 GB, up to 10GB per month to other Telkom numbers. Cell C are morons and limit it to 1GB per month. Don't know what VC and MTN will allow yet.

I know some supplier is allowing data to roll over for a month, from end of Feb they all have to roll over any left over data for a month I think.

It's been signed into a law a long time ago already. They were just given extension to implement this until end of February. Cell C I believe was the company who asked for the extension, and IDK if it'll actually come to pass. Last time they handed in an urgent court application to have it extended. We'll see.
