Data prices when promo ends?

Can you just use a normal cell-c sim and pay out of bundle rates or do you have to buy the package?

Get yours now and then worry about the prices in 12 months time... Surely Cell C will replace the promotion with data bundles at a very competitive price... well I hope.. lets see

Guess there are folks stuck with contracts from MTN and Voda and don't want to make use of the promo as yet... :erm:

I am anxiously awaiting data bundles, the R390/Gb is very expensive, especially compared to the R33/Gb I paid for the initial bundle. Guess next month I need to show some restraint.

Promo will end while stocks last.. So maybe their are 500 k dongles and 500 k data sims, who actually knows how many subscribers they want to get on their network.

Also their OOB is R2 per meg for prepaid customers.

that OOB pricing doesn't sound right to me - but if it was, meh..... VC and MTN charge the same...

Keeper, I spoke to a consultant on contract it will be 39 cents per meg, but on their website they say 39c per meg, also other mybb users mentioned the same.

also check out this SITE the domain doesn't belong to cell c so probably cell c lawyers will send them a notice to transfer the domain intellectual property

The OOB rate will be important, given the small cap and the high speeds. Maybe that's the catch?

Isnt it "unfair" on the cities thats dont have access to the network yet, if the promo ends soon?

Has anyone any idea what Cell C's data prices will be after the promotion?

Doesn't matter at the moment, IMO, as the current promotion is a prepaid bundle over 1 year. I think we should ask the question in 1 year and if you not happy just cancel your phone number ( don't just throw away the sim as RiCA means that if someone does a sim swap than they can commit fraud with your number.

Yeah that would be quite lousy.
