Data protection: name and home address

I received a letter from Truworths to my home address, addressed to myself. However, I never provided any of these details to Truworths or one of their affiliated stores.

Does South African law or more the Protection of Personal Information Act oblige them to tell me where exactly they got this personal information from?

Same type of thing, I found the spreader which was a subdivisiory of the company I was dealing with and played the board of directors of each against each other, it stopped.

What does the letter state? Surely they would only send you a letter if you opened an account?
