For the past week I have been recovering data off a clients HDD. For the most part Recover My files v5 has worked like a charm but I had missed a single PST (11GB) that my client needed. Every time I tried to recover that particular file RMF v5 would lock up. That section of the HDD was in a bad shape.

I then tried a few other programs, specifically Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery and OnTrack EasyRecovery Enterprise. The former was a complete waste of time and I cannot suggest anyone use it. But OnTrack EasyRecovery was the answer and not only did it recover the files I needed but it also allowed me to image the drive successfully. The only issue I have found is that it lacks a progress bar when you are saving the files, which is very frustrating.

So if anyone needs to recover any files off a HDD I can suggest and recommend OnTrack EasyRecovery.

GetDataBack NTFS has always worked for me whenever I had to do data recovery.
